Hi, after doing update to latest operating system or firmware, we suggest to do hard reset or master format, because maybe some previous installed applications may not compatible with latest firmware at your Acer Iconia A3. You can use software menu to do hard reset, otherwise you need to do hard reset this Acer tablet using hardware button like #Option 2 above.

Hi, please try to use OTA (Over The Air) firmware update, but update with this steps will only available if the Acer already give update at their server base by country location. Please go to menu setting > About phone.

Hi, usually after we upgrade to newer version of Kitkat 4.4 with OTA at our Acer ICONA A3, there are nothing we can do to download to Jelly Bean or downgrade with OTA as well. The other alternative is using ADB or connected to computer which is not as easy as download from OTA (over the air) update. However, if you get problem after upgrade to latest firmware of Kitkat, then please consider to do hard reset or master format, because some old applications will need to reinstall for optimize with new OS or to make it compatible.
Hi! I rooted my Acer A3-A10 using "Framaroot" and on that time it was still 4.2.2 Jellybean but When I Update it into 4.4.2 KITKAT I forgot to unroot it. Hi, are you sure your update are finish until the end of process? because some interruption while upgrade will make your Acer Iconia tablet become corrupt and can not work again. You can try to hard reset using hardware button combination key first. If that tablet still can not active, then you have to consult with Acer authorize service center.

Hi, please try to download other 3th party applications to test your front camera like Google camera or Camera 386. When activate that apps, try to switch to front camera. If you front camera still not work, try to hard reset or reformat to factory default your Acer Iconia A3 tablet for make sure your camera hardware still fine or not. If after doing hard reset your front camera still not work, then it seem your front camera hardware get trouble and need to get repair from Acer authorize service center.
hi I got ma acer for a month and a couple of days now and it was moving slow , freezing so I just reseted it and from the I've been having trouble for it to be charged I put it on the charger t exactly 2:35 pm and now its 9:43 pm and its on 50% ( it was turned off the whole time ) help please its been over 9 hours

Hi, maybe you can try to download 3th party camera applications from Google Play Store like Open Camera or Google Camera, all of them is free to download. That applications can replace your Acer A3 tablet camera applications. But if still not work, please consider to do hard reset again and after finish hard reset, please do not login with any Google account, just directly test your camera again.
