Hi. I have this lenovo a850 for months now and i decided to do some cleaning. So i plugged in my phone to my laptop to save all the files that i need and deleted all the stuff in my sd card. After which i tried resetting to factory settings. When i turned it on, it just stayed on the logo and i never got into the home screen. I tried doing a hard reset as well using the power and volume up button and it says my phone is already in factory mode, which is good. Though i still cant get to my home screen. ;( Have i done something wrong or should i just waste for hours?

Hi, first you have to make sure the screen flicker come from hardware or software. The easy steps to do is try to do reboot and if you still can see LENOVO logo without problem when your Lenovo A850 restart, then it seems the problems come with applications, and you have to do hard reset to remove all installed applications which can make this problem. You can use setting menu to hard reset if still can go there, or use hardware button key.

Hi, please remove the battery and wait about 5 seconds, after that plug again the battery at your Lenovo A850. Press power button to turn on your phone again. After run several minutes, try to turn off your phone agian, hopefully that factory mode does not appear anymore.

Hi, basically the undelete or recovery data at Internet memory can not be done, maybe some applications at Google Play Store give info that they can recovery it, but as far as we know, the Internal memory will be wipe and reinstall (rewrite) with clean factory default operating system, that is why some data sector in the internal memory will be replace with new one, then we can not recovery it anymore. Unless you mean the data at External memory if by accident also wipe, then you can try to recover using 3th party application or remove the SD card and use memory card reader with your computer. You can try use Recuva or similar applications to recover deleted files at external microSD.

I have posted this issue last October 4. No, my phone is not rooted or custom rom. I've been having this problem for over a month now. I have problems with my phone that time thus i decided to do a factory reset. The reason perhaps that i wasnt able to go to the homescreen is that all launchers(even the lenovo launcher) is gone. Also the keypad is gone. So all i did was to go to settings/apps/all/chrome then downloaded an android keyboard apk. (I have to use the voice input to type words). Same with a launcher apk. So, yes i finally was able to get my phone working again. BUT, i cant get in to google play store, it says no connection, phone says google stops, hangouts stops, gapps whatever stops..anything related to it..searched online and everything still results to a factory reset which i have done(believe me) more than 30 times now. I even tried downloading apps from aptoide instead just to get all the apps i need to no good..most apps dont work with my data service but only works on wifi. Location services are also not working..lenovo center here is a plane away and it would cost more than what this phone costs..if you could just give me ways on how to fix this, i surely could follow.. thanks a lot!

Hi, please make sure your free internal memory are more then 300 MB, otherwise you phone will said memory full when you want to update or install some applications. All applications will need free internal memory to install the applications, although we still have lot of free external memory or SDCARD external.
Hi! I've been having trouble wth my a850. everything just crashes. I get the message: "Unfotunately, **** had just stopped."
