Hi, when you dial *123# and continue press Call icon, this process will be contact to operator directly for request USSD code from your phone operator. The answer will vary depend on each operator but the phone only wait to get reply to show at LCD screen. Try to contact other number and see weather it run or not. Also consider to open your GMS card and test at other phone and run that USSD code again.

If the battery fine, then one or some 3th party applications that you have installed could make the phone become crash when phone call active. Try to find which application related to phone call. Hi, by default Lenovo A850i already have appropriate factory default operating system or firmware, it can run normally for daily activity. However, there are some other community which also give choice for flashing with custom ROM. But you should root and install with recovery mode. But you have to know that flashing or install custom ROM only suggested for special user and know that the wrong result can make the Lenovo A850 become trouble or stuck and can not use anymore. So, you should carefully doing that. Or better to keep use your factory default ROM or firmware.

I downloaded an app and i had to reboot my lenovo a850.. then when i turned it back on it got stuck on the lenovo -for those who do- logo image..I took out the battery and tried again but still. However, if you have success doing that but the phone still can not turn on, then maybe you need to make sure the phone is not at hard bricks conditions.
